Working with employers

The employers web part displays the employers contained in your patient record. If your account is connected to a personal health record, the employers web part displays employers stored in the personal health record.

View Employers

The employers web part displays the Info From, Name, Address and Status of the employer.

Procedure

  1. In Show Records select 1 of the following sources of employer information.
    • Select Sunrise to view the employers stored in your patient record.
    • Select Microsoft HealhVault to view the employers stored in the personal health record.
  2. To view employer details click the name of the employer.
  3. You can sort employers by clicking the column title. The employers are sorted alphabetically by name.
    Note: You can sort employers by clicking any other column title in the web part.

Add Employers

Use Employer Details to copy an employer from your patient record to a personal health record or to add a new employer to a personal health record.

Procedure

  1. To copy an employer from your patient record to a personal health record, Click Copy to Microsoft HealthVault.

    The employer is copied to your personal health record.

  2. To add a new employer to a personal health record, click Add to PHR.

    Employer Details is displayed.

  3. Enter the applicable information on Employer Details.
  4. Click Save.

    Employer Details closes and the employer is added to the personal health record.

Update employers

You can use the Employer Details window to update information about an employer stored in a personal health record.

About this task

You can only update the details of an employer that is stored in a personal health record. You cannot update the details of an employer that is stored in your patient record.

Procedure

  1. Click the employer name. Employer Details is displayed.
  2. Update the information in the Employer Details window.
  3. Click Save to save your changes.

    The employer information is updated and saved to the personal health record.

Delete Employers

You an only delete employers from a personal health record. You cannot delete employers for your patient record.

Procedure

  1. Select a employer.
  2. Click Delete. A confirmation message is displayed.
  3. Click OK.

Results

The employer is deleted from the personal health record.

Print Employer information

You can print employer information associated to a personal health record.

Procedure

  1. Select the Employer.
  2. Click PDF Print Preview

    File download message is displayed.

  3. Click Open. A PDF print preview displays the employer information.
  4. Click Print.

    Print Options is displayed.

  5. Select print options and click OK. Employer information is printed.
