When viewing appointments, you can select either of 2 views: Calendar View or List View.
To display the latest appointment data, click the Refresh Appointments link.
The Calendar View of the Appointment Calendar enables you to view your scheduled and cancelled appointments on a calendar. The Calendar View consists of a date selector and a calendar that displays your appointments according to a time frame you select. You can view your calendar by a daily or monthly time frame.
You can browse forward or backwards through the months in the date selector to view past and upcoming appointments. You can also select a month and year from the date selector drop-down fields.
A date in bold font in the date selector indicates that you have a scheduled or cancelled appointment on that date. Clicking this date causes the appointment to display in the calendar according to your selected time frame.
The List View of the Appointment Calendar displays your appointments in a list, sorted by date. Each appointment that is displayed in the list includes the appointment name and meeting time (including time zone). You can filter your appointment list to display past or upcoming appointments. Upcoming appointments appear in chronological order and past appointments appear in reverse chronological order.
Some care providers span multiple facilities, with patients visiting the different facilities for different types of care. These separate facilities can have separate databases containing different scheduling information for a single patient. These separate facilities/databases can be represented in Sunrise™ Patient Portal as separate data sources.
If your healthcare organization has configured multiple data sources for appointments, each data source is displayed as a check box in the Show calendar from box. This enables you to easily identify the facility location of your appointment.
If you use an application with iCalendar support, you can migrate appointments from the Appointments web part to your personal calendar. Examples of applications with iCalendar support include Microsoft® Outlook®, Google Calendar™, Windows Live® Calendar, and Facebook.
