Use the Manage Accounts page to search for patient accounts, view or update the profile information, or establish or cancel system connections.
You can update any information in a patient's profile except for the account user name. To make changes to a patient's profile information, update the necessary fields, and then click Save. An email is sent to the patient notifying them of the update to their account.
The Connections section lists the healthcare organization system and personal health record linked to a patient's account.
You can connect and disconnect a patient's account to your healthcare organization's system.
You can only disconnect a patient's account from their personal health record.
When a matching record is found, it is connected to the Sunrise Patient Portal™ account and the patient's medical information becomes available in Sunrise Patient Portal™.
It is important to remember, although you can use this site to update the information stored in your personal health record, you cannot use it to update the information stored in your patient record.
When you disconnect a patient's account from your system or their personal health record, the patient can no longer view their information in Sunrise Patient Portal™. A notification email is also sent to the patient's email address to notify them that their account has been disconnected.
To disconnect a patient account from your healthcare organization's system, click the Disconnect link for your system. The patient's account is disconnected from your healthcare organization's system.
To disconnect a patient's account from their personal health record, click the Disconnect link for the personal health record, and then click OKThe patient's account is disconnected from their personal health record.
